Literature Text
It is a knife in the back of honest people, baring all for you to only stare and scoff.
Your eyes, were they created to judge? Your hands, were they created to destroy? You voice, was it created to opress?
And, in this life, were you brought here to hate? Do your morals point you toward hostility and anger? For I have never once looked upon you with such disgust without valid reason from my coscience. For up until now, you had not harmed me.
As a human, I looked upon you with respect. As a person, I looked upon you with courtesy.
But as a lesbian, I should not have to look upon you with fear.

Marriage Equality
Picture this; a spring afternoon with a slight breeze in the air. You see yourself in a new black tux. As you raise your head you see crowded seats surrounding an isle and at the end of the isle, a man, also in a tux. This is your weeding day and that is your soon to be husband. This special day is something that millions of people dream of and for many of those people, this dream may never come to flourish. Shouldn't everyone be able to enjoy their special day?

Her figure--thin, but not skinny, curvy in all the right places--is enough to make me chug down the last of my drink.
But instead of walking up to her, I walk up to him. The guy standing a couple feet away from her. He's attractive, as all the girls at the party have agreed, and my perfect tool. I don't know his name, but I grab his hand, smile at him, and tug him over to the wall.

Army of One
I am an army of one
I need to get something done.
'Cause gays need their rights, so I'm standing to fight
For equality as an army of one.
But I know I'm not alone,
Don't be shy, break from your zone

Spreading awareness is what we can do.
Oh, because the night is still young,
We can save kids from being hung.
Bullied into slitting their wrists--
What kind of twisted world is this?
We could be young or we could be small,
But we'll bind together and overcome this wall.
US, Asia, Europe, doesn't matter where you are!
By staying together, our plans will go far.
We are an army of one.
We need to get s
